Iliana Reyes

Professor Reyes received her master’s and doctoral degrees in developmental psychology from UC Berkeley. Her expertise in biliteracy in schools and communities is widely recognized, as is her work on borderlands. She continues to carry the torch for Funds of Knowledge — based on the premise that people are competent, and their life experiences have given them valuable knowledge — in the college, where the concept was born many years ago.
